The second and third are much more concise (thank you!) and deliver enough diversity and a punch to be intriguing.

I am inclined to agree with you on the first one. I don't like it either, I admit I don't know how to write synopses and have considered paying someone to do it for me.
The third is my favourite so this is really helpful. Diversity and a punch, yeah that's what I am missing in my marketing in general.
My very earliest synopses would fit on a bookmark, perhaps I should try those again!
