Early access to FREE SCI-FI FRIDAY
I write this email with fingers that are throbbing from some demon virus I picked up at my day job (the one I use to pay for book ads). As soon as I recovered from this virus in early October 2025, I went back into the office.
I then caught the virus a second time.
Today I’m going to have a difficult conversation about how being around people who cough without covering their mouths might not be great for my health, but I would much rather be writing my stories and not speaking to anyone.
Unfortunately, the virus is such that I have some visual disturbances, keep losing consciousness, and I can’t concentrate on anything more complex than this email. That means my stories, my editing, and the fiction posts are on hold until my brain is smart again.
Luckily, other writers write stories which I can enjoy instead.
Today I’ve got access to some of them.
This first freebie shelf is a new one for me. A lot of what looks like Sci-Fi Romance, but also one that appears to be hard sci-fi about computers.
This second one is familiar. It always has a healthy mix of anthologies, first-in-series freebies, opening chapters, novellas, and short stories from either genre. I join this one whenever I can because I enjoy it. Dragons and Spaceships in the same place is always a good mix.
