I need your help with my next book.
And you might get it for free.
Today’s listening is BIG NOBODY, by Feather Trade.
The below image is for a (not yet made) Kickstarter for WHO KILLED THE HUMANS? I designed the image over a year ago, and since I’ve finished the book, I could launch the Kickstarter right now… but I won’t.
[Note: the four people who supported the Crowdfundr campaign I had to put on pause due to life stuff, will still get their books even if I move platform]
WHO KILLED THE HUMANS? is much like the first book in the series, WHO BUILT THE HUMANS? in that as the reader you have some choice as to how silly or heavy it gets. This time, rather than fractured universes crossing over each other to tell a bigger, wider tale, in WKTH the character Gordon (who exploded in WBTH, but is getting better slowly) discovers he didn’t die because the universe forgot to kill him. The corner shop is gone because the corner dissolved, and time itself seems to slow down whenever they go near the poet Barry Binbag, who is so boring he might be their only defence against entropy gone rogue.
It’s a weird, secretly clever, but very silly on the surface book.
And I want you to read it right now this second.
Unfortunately, I now have the gift of hindsight.
I need
MARKETING
and
REVIEWS
before the book comes out. Otherwise it is doomed.
What I need right now, are ARC readers.
ARC = ADVANCED READER COPY
That means you get the book for free, before anyone else.
If I can get just 13 people to fill out the below google form I will be very happy. 13 people is about 10% of the 134 people who usually open emails like this. I think that’s a decent goal.
So you’ll be reading the book before anyone else, then writing a review of it when it comes out (I might make this doable by having a free day shortly after it launches).
(Note, I have no idea how to facilitate ARCs yet. The form just registers your interest and I will email you again some other time)
I also need help with advertising. I know people in radio and TV, but it is not enough. I want to know more people, the right people. Do you know anyone?
Fill out the form on the button below, and you’ll probably land yourself a free eBook of WHO KILLED THE HUMANS? someday.
