Hello. In an hour or two I shall be beaming out the first draft of the funny crab story you all had ideas for, so watch this space!
Our second guest story is CLIFF HOCK: RIGHT PLACE, RIGHT TIME by M.Rothmus. I’ve not had the chance to chat to Rothmus on my podcast in time for this release, but I’m working on it. There’s also another difference, this time round the author’s story is behind a newsletter signup, so I can give you the synopsis, and you can decide if you want it.

(Quoted text taken from Goodreads)
“Rothmus is a doctoral student in Europe. Originally from the Middle East, his writing fuses the political and philosophical concepts of voluntaryism, individualism, propertarianism, and free will with the futuristic elements of science fiction and post-State societies.
Influenced by the works of Heinlein, Asimov, Herbert, Vonnegut, Rand, and Moore, he writes in the political, metaphysical, and dystopian science fiction genres”
Aside from that, he’s also the writer of the Cliff Hock series, of which there are three books. This freebie is a standalone adventure in that universe.
And here’s the synopsis.
This man is not where he’s supposed to be.
He’s on a space station. He’s light years away from where he should be. And he’s dead.
Cliff Hock is one of the galaxy’s best bounty hunters. But even he can’t explain what’s going on. Cliff finds himself prisoner to a police officer that’s gone mad with power. But, by partnering with an attractive alien, Cliff unravels the conspiracy and holds the guilty accountable.
You’ll love this quick, fun read. If you like puzzles that keep you guessing until the end, this Cliff Hock adventure is for you.
This post was a new way to help a fellow author out. On Bookfunnel we can do ‘author swaps’ where you find someone whose stories are similar in scope to yours, and tell each other’s readers about them.

That’s all for now. I can tell you that my next post is captioned
THE GENIUS OF MY SUBSCRIBERS
and is a breakdown of all the ideas you had for September’s free story.
