Because a few people are saying “You are the brand” I am now training myself to tolerate being on most of the promo images. I’m most inspired by Graham Norton and Frankie Boyle’s shows, and hope to have multiple guests on a big one eventually.
A.J. PAGAN
AJ’s work is heavily inspired by Michael Crichton, as are some of the themes in his debut novel, which deals with the ethics (or lack thereof) in creating sentient beings in the laboratory. Our interview went over the themes in the novel, AJ’s thoughts about emerging science, and what inspired him. It’s a lot of fun, and we had the expected amount of laughs too.
You can watch part one below, or wait until next week for both parts to come out.
If you do check out the video, I’d love for you to subscribe to it. Every new subscriber tells youtube that my channel is worth recommending, so will go a long way towards my goal for the talk show, which is to get it on a live stage at a ComicCon, and TV.
I had the privilege to be the very first person to interview AJ, which is incredible. I always wanted to do something in the entertainment industry when I was a kid, and I’ve now somehow stumbled into doing it. I have about 15 guests lined up at the moment, from authors to comedians, so it’s going to be a busy year. I plan to release one episode every month, or more frequently if necessary. And I’m looking at a business loan and arts grants to get it off the ground. Imagine what I could do with some editing and advertising.
