I voted for silly.

If Barry's boring poem makes the universe die, will quoting the poem also lead the one who reads it to share the same fate? (I think I may have just stumbled onto a Stephen King novel with that question).

Potentially, but to save the lives of my readers I only mention certain facets of the poem, such as the fact that Barry uses and abuses the word GOSSAMER seven times.

I hate that word in poetry. It is my marker for a poet who does not know what they are doing or why they are doing it. It is the simplest fancy sounding word, so a lot of them abuse it.

I have a page in my notebook reserved for open mics, where I keep a tally of all the times Gossamer and Figs are mentioned, as well as another spoken word trope I won't mention here... that will come in a comedy post ;)
