Hello!
Just a short one, I have ‘reprinted’ one of the 47 stories in WHO BUILT THE HUMANS? as its own standalone thing.
It’s called THE CRYSTAL REBELLION and is is about a psychic crystal targeting an old lady called Susan and generally being a nuisance.
Here’s the cover.
The premise was basically ‘what if a psychic crystal got sick of hearing nonsense about himself, tore off the price tag (and the little card sign saying he can cure divorce) and fought back against the old lady who bought him?’
It is one of my favourite stories. It needed a life on its own.
It was originally in WBTH, and was trapped there until last week.
Crystal Susan does return in WHO KILLED THE HUMANS? so it’s a story with a future.
