Preordered! And brought book-1 forwarded, I haven’t read it yet.

Thank you! Yeah it's an intimidating-looking tome. It is an easy read, but it doesn't look it. My genuine goal for it (I mention this in the podcast) was to make a 'best-of' collection for a dead writer who was not dead yet. It's a funny premise, but it did make for a big book, 125750 words I think.

Looking forward to what you think about both of them!

It’s an intriguing title, to say the least. Lol. You also mention The Earthloop trilogy-where The Furokawa Paradox is one of the stories-that it’s part of WBTH universe but that it’s a completely separate story. I don’t see the trilogy at Amazon, Phillip.

I'm holding off on pre-orders for that as I am (right now this second actually) polishing off queries for the trilogy. I was going to self-pub them but a publisher I really like has opened their doors so I'm hoping to send something before those doors close again

Thanks for being interested in all of them. Yeah Earthloop started in WBTH (10 of the 47 chapters are from the EL universe) and it has since grown into a standalone trilogy. The story was complete and circular in WBTH, but there was a lot more room for growth and discovery as the main character loops back through time thrice, and this was only hinted at in two or three lines of dialogue.

I also made an attempt to crowdfund EARTHLOOP back in 2022, which went okay, and I let it dry up because I hadn't the audience at the time and wanted more time to write it alongside other projects.

So it is coming soon, I just don't know how yet.

Tradpub or Selfpub... it's out of my control now!

There's also my fleeting fear that, having two crowdfunded books available for pre-order at the same time might to some people feel like a 'money grab' when in reality it is a natural part of my process to be writing several books at a time, especially since some characters jump between them.

I tend to write poetry books in 4s, then stagger their release!

But I do want to give my readers more choices. And, with crowdfundr, I can funnel all funds into a collected pot which I could then have as my future bookstore or some bigger project, like getting Halfplanet Press to do new cool stuff.

It's all getting bigger and weirder from here!

Perhaps some readers may think that, but I think only a few susceptible, Phillip. But then that’s how all the merchandising process works.

Here’s to a great year, Phillip! 🧡

My goal as a writer/publisher is to produce this massive multiverse of stories and let people swim around in it. I think you're right.

I'll put a crowdfundr up for it when I heard back from this publisher. Thanks again for the support, just seen it appear on the page!

The title Earthloop caught my attention immediately, hence why I asked about it. I’d love to read it, Phillip, and only because of the title. Lol.

I really hope you make it happen, Phillip. I hope you do, for you, and for me too, so I may read it. Yes, am being a tad selfish here. 😜

Seriously now, I pray everything goes smoothly and you publish all your books-trad or self- and May they be a great success. You deserve it too; you are pouring out your heart and soul into this wonderful project 🙏 🧡🤗

It's a lot of fun, that restaurant scene I posted about two months back you commented on is part of the query I am sending out tonight!

I'm just glad I took the tremendous existential risk of doing self-pub as my job for a year or two and had family to rely on. Because now if I don't get an agent, it's not the end of the world.

So psychologically I'm in a much safer space. The books are coming, somehow.
