Oh! It’s bright for sure! It looks elegant and clear. I think I’m not the best person to ask, Phillip. You see, personally I’ve never liked black or dark backgrounds, All my devices have a white background. I don’t wear black clothes, only pants and jackets and unless necessary. lol. But I do like the charcoal, way more than black!
That makes sense, thank you! As long as it is elegant and clear, those are the exact words I was looking for!
I want to subvert expectation a bit as well and it still seems to surprise people in 2024 that men can like pink. This particular pink matches my shoes!
Thanks for your advice on it, I'm never too sure with my synaesthesia if I'm making colour decisions that everyone else won't like!
You’re most welcome, Phillip. Glad to be of help.I’m so glad you chose charcoal instead of black! And it goes superbly with the shocking pink.
I’m a bright colour person, no matter what’s in style at the moment you’ll always see me with pastel or bright colours. I’ve been a fashion designer for more than 40 years, and although I created clothes, accessories, shoes, and bathing suits, etc, I wasn’t one to follow fashion per se. I like to combine with vintage stuff. Alas, my spinal cord degeneration made me stop working. ☹️
I love it that the pink here matches your shoes! 😄🥰 Men in Europe, and particularly in Spain where I live, Italy or France have been wearing the pastel tones of pink, yellows and greens and lilac ,for many years now, and have ventured towards fuchsia tones too. I think that’s wonderful! It was high time we drpped the social taboos regarding colours reserved for women and men. lol.
Conclusion, I love this charcoal/pink colour scheme! 😄🧡
Yes it's a very peculiar thing. I do a lot of open mics and I often have other performers/hosts comeup to me after a gig to say "I wish I could look good in that" or "I couldn't get away with that" as if a suit and pink shoes is some massive social taboo. Very weird.
I'm sorry you had to stop working. I remember you told me about that last year, or perhaps further back through time. I've always been interested in fashion and have just recently cleared out all my instagram posts, tempted to start posting pictures of my outfits.
Oh! That would be phenomenal! I’d love to see your pics with your outfits, Phillip. I’m sure they are fabulous outfits. And yes, that’s what IG is for, to publish whatever we want, IG permitting of course. Go for it!
Congrats!!! So proud of you!!!
Thank you! It's made me wonder if there really might be room for weirdos like me on the scene :)
Congratulations, Phillip! So happy for you. Bravo!,🙌 👏👏👏🧡
Thanks Meenaz!
Oh, what do you think of my new colour scheme on the app? gone for charcoal and pink
