Glad you liked it! I'm getting back into comedy on here as it's a lot easier to fit a complete piece in an email than it is with say, a novel! haha

I did! I liked it! It was a bit..”crawly” though. 😂

Yeah fully expecting to lose a few subscribers for this one, but I want to be the real me. My on stage sense of humour can get spicy

Oh? I don’t understand why you should lose subscribers! Lol. People have to be more lighthearted, not take life too seriously, even if our lives seem to be crumbling down. I know, I talk from experience. But never lose my sense of humour. It’s what sustains me, helps me to deal with my emotions, my physical impediments, my anxiety, my everyday excruciating pains, and moreover caretaking my elder parents,..etc. lol.

You be you, Phillip. I don’t see anything wrong with the story, for gods’ sake. I liked it, and besides the humorous part, I found it profound even, something to think about, and yes, it was unnerving, but then so is Metamorphosis by Frank Kafka, crawly, claustrophobic, but fascinating. I’ve read it many times. It still makes my heart beat too fast, and get claustrophobic just thinking of the poor man. 😄

I do always sneak the profound into the profane ;)

You always lose subscribers when you post comedy because comedy is really divisive, especailly if it's about political figures. I don't mind though because I'm glad to have my community here, and if people come and go, that just means I set this up for them so it was easy to come and go!

I knew one author who bragged about never losing subscribers, and he had 4 different email accounts so if someone left one, he could still bother them on the other... that's not a community that's trapping people haha
